In order to create a sense of belonging and loyalty and to foster team spirit and healthy competitions, the students are divided into four houses, named after flowers viz- DAFFODILS (YELLOW), PANSIES (BLUE), ROSES (RED) and SHAMROCKS (GREEN), each under a House Mistress. Result of all competitions are graded and recorded.
DAFFODILS
Yellow as a Daffodil,
Bright as the sun,
Fresh as a bud,
Calm as a Sunset,
And as glorious as a lion;
This is what our house ‘Daffodils’ represents. We have been able to keep this spirit throughout our Endeavors. Throughout the year we were able to keep up an energetic spirit we could not have accomplished this without each of our members, each one unique in themselves. Here again Daffodiils has emerged for yet another wonderful year. Wise warming to our successor: “Our greatest glory is not in never falling but rising every time we fall”.
- Confucius
PANSIES
“We must believe that we are gifted for something and this thing, at any cost must be attained”
-Marie Curie
2014-15 has been a great year that opened new windows of opportunities and sought to find the hidden talents of many students. Pancies have ever been charming and radiant as is the flower. Students are tuned to be equipped with all the possible opportunities to develop themselves in a very cordial atmosphere.
ROSES
The vibrant ROSES house who won the ‘Ever rolling trophy for the best house in 2014-2015 is ready for this year’s challenge. They have always been in the forefront of any activities or games.
SHAMROCKS
The road to success is not to be run upon by seven-leagued books. Step by step, little by little, bit by bit, this is the way to success. These are the words of Charles Buxton. ‘Shamrocks’ is a very vibrant house of MAIS, which has kept the aforesaid words true. Teachers are facilitators of students who mould the students to sharpen their intellect and tune their talents in an extra ordinary manner.
