Kothamangalam: Gaby Gabriella George, NASA Kennedy Space Centre scientist and US Air force Engineer, visited the aspiring space scientists and astronauts of M.A International School. He explained the possibilities of space science and astronomy as a career option and clarified their doubts during the course of interaction.
The star of the day was Paulose George who had recently been to NASA Kennedy Space Centre. He was one of the select few from India who won the National Level Space Science Competition conducted by a US educational company. Gaby was more than delighted by his keen interest and knowledge of space shuttles, launch vehicles and space missions. The budding astronaut’s narration of the NASA experience impressed the NASA scientist who was pleased to offer all possible help for him to journey further into his dream career.
Gaby wished him good luck for his higher studies in the Florida Institute of Technology for which he had received a scholarship worth Rs 7 lakhs.Hearty congratulations to our young MAISIAN Poulose.
